Sweden M1914 unfinished bayonet for M1894-14 Mauser Carbine; made by Eskilstuna Iron Manufacturing (EJAB); UNUSED

Description Swedish M1914 EJAB bayonet for M1894-14 Mauser Carbine; manufactured pre-WW2 by Eskilstuna Iron Manufacturing, Inc; unfinished and unused. Original pre-WW2 era manufacture unfinished M1914 bayonet for the Swedish M1894-14 6.5mm caliber Mauser Carbine in unused condition. I have two (2) partially finished M1914s that are almost identical. This is an early type that was manufactured by Eskilstuna Iron Manufacturing, Inc (stamped EJ “anchor” AB on ricasso); this type is still in use today as intended by the Swedish Royal Guard – see photos. Also, I have one (1) partially finished M1914 bayonet made by Carl Gustaf Stads Gevärsfaktori (stamped C/“anchor” on ricasso). These are 13-inch blade specimens, during WW2 and  after the war the same type would be used as the standard bayonet for the 9 mm Carl Gustaf Kulsprutepistol M1945C (Submachine Gun M1945C). The Swedish M1945C is known in the USA as the Swedish-K; it’s a well-made and reliable piece of equipment thar was well-appreciated by the US Navy SEALS during the Vietnam War �� This is a superb quality manufacture bayonet with clean and crisp lines and about all of the original white finish remaining. This bayonet is stamped EJ “anchor” AB on ricasso. All metal pars are stamped with the royal Swedish crown arsenal proof marks. The muzzle ring is intact; no edge nicks or dings on the blade; no typical contact marks on the pommel. These specimens don’t have wood grips installed; other than that these bayonets are fully finished, assembled and blades factory-sharpened. Bayonet release mechanism is nice and tight and 100% functional. Each bayonet is about 18-1/8″ / 46 cm overall; blades are about 13″ / 33 cm long; original factory edge with no nicks or dings on the spine, the tip is intact. There is no scabbard. These scarce unused pre-WW2 Swedish M1914 bayonets are in excellent overall condition. These original Swedish M1914 bayonets have not been cleaned or tampered with in any way, each one is in 100% original “as is” condition; these are the actual photos.
