Description Hyderabad India AH1307 1890 silver Half-Rupee Princely States 1/2 Rupee; nicely toned UNC – scarce this nice. About 18 mm in diameter; thick 3.1 mm planchet; about 5.65 grams. Plain, uneven rim as these were hummer-struck from crude planchet blanks. An attractive specimen with original light-gray-with golden overtones patina throughout; one purity test mark on obverse at 2 o’clock is noted for accuracy. Not cleaned, polished, or otherwise messed around with; these are the actual photos.
