Description USSR silver Order of Honor – original Soviet Russia Znak Pocheta. Circa 1960th issue in excellent overall condition with original suspension and ribbon. FREE SHIPPING WITHIN THE U.S. FOR THIS ITEM! Original Soviet era Order of Honor (Znak Pocheta – ЗНАК ПОЧЁТА) in practically as-issued condition; complete with the original pin-on suspension plank. Awarded in the late ’60s – early ’70s; serial number 1288511 (SN is hand-engraved on the back). Bright red enamel is smooth and damage-free; scarce this nice – most of these orders are pretty banged-up from constant wear. The order is about 51 mm from the top of the loop to the lower edge; total weight is 40.5 grams. Very attractive piece cast in silver; suspension plank is galvanized steel with a silk ribbon. These awards were not made at a badge factory but were actually struck at the Moscow mint – thus the extra attention to details and excellent overall quality. This original USSR silver Order of Honor has not been cleaned, polished, or tempered with in any way; these are the actual photos.
