Description 3 Pin Metri-Pack 280 Sealed Connector. These connectors are rated at 30A. The terminals are tin placed brass. Maximum operating temperature is 125c and minimum operating temperature is -40c. These were formerly Delphi brand connectors. Connectors come with terminals and seals and retainers. There are different size terminals, however, there is no point in using this type connector ( high current ) with small wire size ( cable limiting current ). We recommend to use 14AWG at a minimum and preferably 12AWG. These are not small connectors. The housing is quite big for the rated current. Suitable for motorcycle stator connections, but not so much for the DC side, where we recommend Furukawa QLW connectors due to the larger terminal (.250″) size. Tough plastic housing with inner seal.
