Description This Buddha Statue / Rupa has been beautifully handcrafted by skilled Nepalese craftsmen using the Lost Wax process. The statue is made of Copper and 24k gold and the face has been painted with cold gold. The statue measures around 21cm in height *Please be aware that the Copper/Gold statues and the fully Gold statues have increased considerably in recent times due to the very high price of gold on the market. We are seeing a big increase in fake gold statues in circulation at cheaper prices. All our statues are bought at source from traditional statue makers in Patan, Kathmandu using genuine 24k gold and have more gold on them than regular statues* The statue in the photograph is the actual statue for sale. *Please be very careful when cleaning Nepalese Buddha statues, especially with the face. The Gold on the body is Gilt gold but the face is cold gold. Genuine cold Gold should not be touched by hands as any moisture contact can damage the face.
