Description Gray canvas rucksack from the Austrian military. Probably from the 1960’s. It has a large main compartment and two outer pockets, all with leather straps and metal buckles. Size is about 19 inches by 17 inches. Back packs are in good used condition with some of the leather straps being worn. This AUSTRIAN rucksack was based on the M31 German Mountain Pack. The M31 rucksack was designed to be attached to German WW2 type Y-straps or you can use any kind of adjustable shoulder straps.
