ADOLF HITLER VISOR CAP – GREEN

Description On the outbreak of WWII Adolf Hitler discarded his brown N.S.D.A.P. uniform in favour of a military version in field grey. He wore this model until his death in 1945. We are delighted to offer this superb copy of the unique visor cap that Hitler wore with his uniform. The cap incorporates elements of both the political and military leaders caps of the Third Reich, in recognition of Hitler’s unique position as Fuhrer of the Reich, Leader of the N.S.D.A.P. and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. The body of the cap is field grey but it retains the brown velvet band of the Party Cap. It incorporates both white and gilt piping. The army style cap wreath is embroidered directly onto the brown velvet band but the eagle is of the gilt metal variety. It is complete with the gilt cap cords that Hitler most usually wore on this wartime model of his cap.
