Description SS-Heimwehr Danzig Flag. Size5` x 3` (1500mm x 900mm) 2x Brass Grommets. Content – 100% polyester The SS-Heimwehr(home defense) battalion were issued with iys own banner in August 1939. However this unit was short lived and disbanded in November of the same year. It is believed only one banner was produced and the fate of it unknown. Fair to say it was probably destroyed. It is a very striking design. The original also have a silver fringe.
