CANbus IO Expander – Mini
$58.21
$94.3
Description Emulates behavior of Haltech IO 12 box. 4x 0v – 5v Analog inputs 4x Digital Inputs DI1 – Reads Frequency, Duty and State (10hz-300hz) DI2-4 – Reads State Only (Switch to ground) 4x Digital pulsed outputs Change from IO Box A or B by soldering across the solder bridge marked “AB”. Compatible with the following ECUs Haltech – PS, Elite and Nexus Link G4 , G4X, G5 MAXXECU ECU Master Pro, ADU and PMU Emtron (with custom firmware) – add a note to your order if you plan to use your device with an EMtron ECU Pullup resistors can be added for the Analog inputs by soldering across the relevant pads on the bottom of the board. Resistors are now built-in and are not required to be separately soldered on. There are limitations with this mini board: – 200mA limit for the outputs. – No frequency drive for the outputs. State or PWM only. (490hz or 980hz) – 0v-5v on the AVI only. – Input protection for AVI, 12v tolerant. Still only reads 0-5v – DPI1 can read frequency, duty and state. – DPI2, 3 & 4 are state only (on or off), No Frequency measurements. Pull to ground. Also 12V tolerant. – Built in pullup resistors are 1k ohm. Solder across the pads under rear cover to use them. – Swap from A mode to B mode by bridging the “AB” solder pads under the rear cover. Top View Bottom View Will come with an Arduino Nano with the code loaded on and tested. Includes: 2x 4 position connectors 1x 5 position connector 1x 6 position connector 19x terminals 3D printed case with mounting hardware Dimensions Open Source Firmware Code for this project is on our gitHub – https://github.com/ptmotorsport/IObox-emulator-haltech Check it out!
